“ If you’re searching for a bar that offers an unforgettable experience, Anansi is it. Nestled on East College Avenue in Decatur, this spot is effortlessly moody, intimate, and chic. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance envelops you—dim lighting, stylish decor, and a laid-back yet sophisticated vibe make it perfect for any occasion. The cocktails are the star of the show. Each drink is crafted with precision, I enjoyed an Espresso Martini which was amazinggggg. I didn’t get any snacks during this visit, but I’ll definitely be returning. ”

I love the theme too, as I grew up on stories about Anansi the spider in Jamaica. I didn’t know such a cool spot was 5 minutes from home. I’ll be visiting often now! ”
“ This place is such a hidden Gem! I’ve been twice already. The second time I brought people back with me and plan to bring more. The drinks are on point, and the ambiance is everything! It’s a very unique place with low lighting which I love! It gives elevated Love Jones vibes. They don’t serve food as it is a cocktail bar, but they have little snacks like white cheddar popcorn, pretzels, and olives. Oh, and it’s black owned! I can’t wait to visit again! ”

No entrees and appetizers but we tried all of their bar snacks and the marinated olives were my absolute favorite. The music was great as well. 10/10 would recommend. ”

Now...layer on an atmosphere that provides an endless amount of things to catch your eye and it feels cozy at the same time . And if both of those things weren’t enough, the DRINKS!!! are delivered wrapped in phenomenal service and craftsmanship.
